Founded in 2003, Message Automation was an early evangelist of new XML-based message standards and, in 2006, acquired Systemwire, a spin-out from University College London (UCL). Message Automation is headquartered in London and remains privately held.
In 2007, Message Automation and City Networks signed a strategic partnership agreement to combine Message Automation’s leading Validator, Translator and Mediator products and City Networks Proactive suite. The combined solution, Proactive Derivatives, provides matching and reconciliation, exception management, human workflow services and message creation and validation using FpML-based technology.
Message Automation’s technology is cited by industry organisations as an FpML reference implementation and is already in place at five of the world’s top 25 banks.
