| September 23rd, 2009 | Markit iTraxx SovX Western Europe Index To Start Trading Markit, a financial information services company, today announced that the Markit iTraxx SovX Western Europe index would start trading on 28 September 2009. This is the first of the Markit iTraxx SovX indices to be tradable. |
| February 20th, 2009 | Markit Announces Changes to Markit iTraxx Europe Rules Markit, a financial information services provider and owner of the Markit iTraxx indices, today announced that Markit iTraxx dealers have voted to change two rules governing the Markit iTraxx Europe indices in order to make them more reflective of the current economic environment. The new rules will come into effect before next month’s index roll into series 11 on 20 March 2009. |
| October 20th, 2008 | Markit Launches New iTRAXX Europe Total Return Indices Markit, a financial information services provider, today announced the launch of the Markit iTraxx Europe Financial Total Return indices. The new indices replicate the performance of a sample portfolio that buys or sells a Markit iTraxx CDS contract and invests the remaining notional amount in money market instruments.
