CDX Indices

Markit, a leading, global financial information services company, today announced changes to certain rules governing its Markit iTraxx Europe and Markit CDX North America families of credit default swap (CDS) indices.  The new rules will come into effect before the Markit iTraxx and Markit CDX indices roll later on this month.

Markit, a global financial information services company, today announced that the Markit CDX.NA.IG and CDX.EM will roll into their fourteenth and thirteenth series, respectively, on March 22, 2010. The Markit CDX.EM.DIV will roll into its eleventh series on this date.

The following changes have been made to the Markit CDX family of indices:

* Two constituents have been replaced in the Markit CDX.NA.IG index.
* The composition of the Markit CDX.EM and CDX.EM.DIV index remain unchanged.
