CFTC Seeks Public Comment on Requests from the NadeX for Amended DCM and DCO Orders to Trade and Clear Intermediated Contracts
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is requesting public comment on requests submitted by the North American Derivatives Exchange (Nadex), formerly known as HedgeStreet, Inc., for amended orders designating Nadex as a designated contract market and registering it as a U.S. derivatives clearing organization. Nadex seeks amended orders to allow futures commission merchant intermediaries to trade and clear fully collateralized customer orders on Nadex.
Comments regarding the requests should be submitted on or before September 21, 2009.
Comments may be submitted via email to secretary@cftc.gov. All comments received will be posted on the Commission’s website.
