Alan van Griethuysen Appointed President of the Association of Futures Markets
NYSE Euronext today announced that Alan van Griethuysen has been named president of the Association of Futures Markets (AFM).
The Association of Futures Markets (AFM) is an international non-profit organization that was founded in 1998. The prime objective of the Association is to globally promote and encourage the establishment of new derivative markets. To this end, the AFM organizes international conferences to promote communication among AFM-members, to strengthen their relationship and to transfer information and experience among them. Currently this organization has 31 members. NYSE Euronext is one of the founders of this association.
Alan van Griethuysen is Executive Director Regional Business Head for Asia and Benelux of NYSE Euronext.
